Pelagic Excursions from Morro Bay

For the Adventurous Wildlife and Bird Watcher!

California Pelagic Excursion

Venture beyond the continental shelf with experienced naturalists for high-quality wildlife viewing and photography in some of the world’s most biologically productive waters. Seasonal upwelling draws plankton and large feeding aggregations that attract whales, dolphins, sea lions, and a wide variety of seabirds. Longer trips increase chances of rare encounters such as blue whales, fin whales, orcas, and albatross and offer dramatic views of Morro Rock and the Central Coast. Trips prioritize close, responsible viewing and expert interpretation.
