We offer whale watching tours, harbor cruises on our boat with underwater windows, cocktail cruises, ash scatterings and we also rent kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddleboards.

There are year round opportunities to see whales on the central coast. The gray whale season typically runs from December-May and the humpback whale season runs from May-November. Summer months are peak season for humpback whales but there are still very good opportunities to see whales outside of the summer time.
-
There is not a particular time of day that we have more success seeing whales but weather conditions tend to be calmer in the morning. We do our best to depart daily at 9am and will often run trips in the afternoon if the weather permits and we have the demand for it.

There is a small parking lot at the top of the ramp of the dock where we are located and a large parking lot across the street from our location. There is also ample street parking (green curbs are ok). The Embarcadero is the main road along the waterfront and during the busy season it may be best to go uphill a block or two and park away from the Embarcadero.

Adventurous spirit!
Regardless of the time of year we typically encourage everyone to dress warmly (pants and jackets) for the whale watching tour. In Morro Bay it is always a good idea to have a jacket. When kayaking it is easy to get wet and smart to dress accordingly.
